BUILT IN SERVICE
DRIVEN BY EXECUTION.

IBS was built on the same principle that makes Special Forces units effective disciplined people, structured systems, and the accountability to perform when it matters most. We apply that standard to every delivery, every route, and every client relationship.
Founder Story

WHO BUILT IBS AND WHY

Built during one of the most unstable periods in modern logistics, IBS was founded on operational discipline, accountability, and systems designed to perform under pressure.

IBS was founded in October 2020, during the height of COVID-19 when supply chains were collapsing, carriers were failing, and the logistics industry was exposing exactly how fragile it had always been. Samuel J.L. Haynes III didn’t see a crisis. He saw a gap. Sam joined the U.S. Army in 2007 as an Aviation Crew Chief and Mechanic, serving with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment the most demanding rotary-wing unit in the U.S. military. In 2015 he earned his Green Beret, joining the Special Forces community and spending the next decade moving men, weapons, and equipment across multiple platforms and environments in some of the most unforgiving conditions on earth. That is not a metaphor. That is the operational baseline IBS was built on. What Sam saw in civilian logistics was a fundamental lack of discipline no accountability systems, no structured execution, no real ownership when things went wrong. He built IBS to fix that. Not with a new app. With operator-grade infrastructure, people who take ownership, and systems built to perform under pressure. The IBS leadership team brings 30+ years of combined logistics, delivery, and trucking experience across both military and commercial sectors. Five years in, IBS manages hundreds of thousands of deliveries annually across 5 states, maintains 98%+ on-time performance , and holds active contracts with some of the most demanding logistics clients in the Pacific Northwest including a final-mile partnership with RXO / Costco in Kent, WA.

WHO WE ARE

MORE THAN A LOGISTICS COMPANY

IBS was built to challenge the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability common in logistics. We believe relationships, execution, and operational ownership are the foundation of long-term success.

Our approach combines scalable logistics infrastructure with disciplined leadership, empowered teams, and client-first problem solving.

We do not simply move freight. We build systems that improve reliability, visibility, and trust.
Why Clients

Why Clients Trust IBS

Accountability

Every role operates with measurable standards and operational accountability.

PEOPLE-FIRST OPERATIONS

Drivers, warehouse teams, and dispatchers are the backbone of logistics. We empower our teams.

EXECUTION DISCIPLINE

We prioritize execution over excuses, clarity over complexity, and solutions over delays.

SCALABLE SOLUTIONS

From local courier work to regional logistics, we build systems designed to grow with your business.

Relationships

Relationships Drive Everything We Do

Logistics is ultimately a people business.

Behind every successful delivery, warehouse movement, route recovery, and operational solution is a network of people solving problems together in real time.

IBS believes strong relationships create stronger operations: clients, drivers, warehouse teams, dispatchers, strategic partners, vendors, and leadership.

We prioritize communication, accountability, and long-term trust because sustainable logistics operations are built through consistency and partnership, not transactions.
