Sam joined the U.S. Army in 2007 as an Aviation Crew Chief and Mechanic, serving with the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment the most demanding rotary-wing unit in the U.S. military. In 2015 he earned his Green Beret, joining the Special Forces community and spending the next decade moving men, weapons, and equipment across multiple platforms and environments in some of the most unforgiving conditions on earth.
