DRIVER APPLICANT PRIVACY NOTICE

This notice explains how Ingenious Business Solutions LLC collects, uses, and protects the personal information of individuals who apply to drive for or contract with IBS. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect from Applicants
- Identity and contact information: name, address, phone, email, and date of birth where required for screening.
- Qualification information: driver’s license number and class, driving history/motor vehicle record (MVR), work history, and references.
- Vehicle and insurance information: vehicle type, registration, and insurance documentation for owner-operators and contractors.
- Screening information: results of background checks, MVR checks, and, where required for the position, drug and alcohol testing, obtained with your authorization and in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable law.
- Compliance records: documentation required under DOT and FMCSA regulations for regulated positions.
How We Use Applicant Information
- To evaluate your application and qualifications.
- To conduct authorized background, MVR, and other screening checks.
- To meet DOT/FMCSA driver qualification and record-keeping requirements.
- To onboard you as a driver or contractor if your application is accepted.
- To communicate with you about your application, including by SMS if you opt in.
How We Share Applicant Information
- Screening providers that perform background, MVR, and drug/alcohol testing services on our behalf.
- Regulators and authorities, including DOT/FMCSA, where required by law.
- Insurance carriers, where required to qualify drivers or vehicles for coverage.
- We do not sell applicant information.
Retention
Applicant records are retained as required by DOT/FMCSA regulations and other applicable law. Records for applicants who are not engaged are retained only as long as necessary for legal compliance and legitimate business purposes.

If adverse action is taken based on a consumer report, you will receive the notices required by the FCRA, including a copy of the report and a summary of your rights.
